THE significant economic contribution in a national context of Shannon Foynes Port Company (SFPC) and the Shannon Estuary will be detailed in an ‘Economic Impact Assessment’ by independent strategic research consultants W2 Consulting published this Friday.

The launch of the report assessment at Foynes Yacht Club will be attended by Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Patrick O’Donovan, T.D.,

The study will for the first time give a detailed insight, taken from primary data, into the value of commercial activity at SFPC ports and generally on the estuary.
