NEW York hardcore punk legend Sick of It All was formed in the mid-’80s by brothers Lou and Pete Koller. The band is a seminal influence in the US hardcore scene. They are revered for achieving commercial success and growing their fan base without ever compromising their style and sound.

The quartet found critical and commercial success in the mid ’90s with their major label debut album ‘Scratch the Surface’ with its singles ‘Scratch the Surface’ and ‘Step Down’.

The video for ‘Step Down’ featured in the  Beavis and Butt-head episode ‘Premature Evacuation’.

SOIA have faced accusations of selling out since their major label releases but in reality it is only recent years that the members of the group been able to give up their ‘day jobs’ to continue with Sick of It All.

The band has followers in Europe, South and Central America as well as their home country and tour regularly. They release music inspired by real events in their own lives, performing it with more emphasis on impact and energy than on melody.
