ADOPTED son of Limerick by way of Rwanda, painter and teacher Jean Ryan Hakizimana has a new gallery/ studio to call his own.
Located on Liddy Street, Limerick, across from O’Sullivan’s Pharmacy, its opening exhibition will be ‘The Gift’. This show will be launched by Gerry McLoughlin this Friday August 12 at 6.30pm.
Known for his colourful African scenes and abstract works, Hakizimana’s interest in photography is leading a sale of art with up to 70 per cent off prices to make way for a photographic studio.
Everybody is welcome on opening night and to Hakizimana’s most recent art space thereafter.
