A NEW tourism officer has been appointed to ramp up efforts to bring visitors in to see the city and county’s attractions.
Elected members of Limerick City and County Council were told at this week’s meeting of the local authority that Ms Majella O’Brien has been appointed this month as the tourism officer and has already begun work in the new position.
