A LIMERICK couple are celebrating this week after their five number plus bonus ticket scooped them over โ‚ฌ100,000 in prize-money from the main lotto drawย last June.

This Monday, the Limerick couple travelled to collect their pot ofย โ‚ฌ113,661 from Lotto HQ.

Wishing to retain their anonymity, the Limerick coupleย purchased their Quick Pick ticket at Newcastle West Service Station in Newcastle west, Co Limerick on Saturday June 18, the same day as the draw.

The Limerick couple’s ticket was one of two winners that weekend with the otherย ticket beingย sold at Eason Newsagents on Oโ€™Connell Street in Dublin city centre.

Fortuitously, the couple stopped at the shop with the specific intention of playing the lotto and after initially forgetting to purchase the ticket, said they knew there was something special about the ticket when they returned to buy it.

The win, they said, was perfect timing for them and they hope to upgrade their car, pay some bills and enjoy a family holiday.

Wednesdayโ€™s jackpot is an estimated โ‚ฌ4.5m – what would you do?
