Limerick Macra Rally 2016 was officiallyย launched with much excitementย lastย Wednesday evening in the Radisson Blu Hotel on the Ennis Road. Specialย guests included the Mayor of Limerick City and County Liam Galvin, representatives from sponsors GVM Group, Pat Dowlingย Deputy Chief Executive of Limerick City and County Council,ย Macra na Feirme National President Sean Finan, Also inย attendance were local farmers who will beย showcasing their agricultural enterprises to rallyย delegates from all over Ireland.
Chairmanย Aidan Liston from main sponsorsย GVM spoke of the Groupย celebrating 60 years in business and the positive influence Macra na Feirme, which was established 10 years previously,ย had on GVM Groupsย founding members.
Theย 2016ย Macra na Feirme Annual Conference hosted by Limerick Macra willย be held in theย Radisson Blu Hotel, Ennis Road, Limerickย from Friday October 28 to Monday October ย 31 for what promises to be an action packed weekend.
Up to 3,000 members are expected to visit Limerickย for the Macraย Annual Conference for activities including aย fancy dress party, localย farm tours, anย agricultural conference, a banquet as well as several nationalย competition finals.
