TWO recent accolades it has received is good news, not just for IDA Ireland but for the regions it serves, IDA’s Regional Business Development Manager for the Mid West, Niall O’Callaghan, says.
IDA Ireland was ranked as a Top National Investment Promotion Agency and also won the overall Best to Invest Award for total projects per capita in its region.
The Best to Invest Top IPA Awards recognise the professionalism and preparedness demonstrated on an ongoing basis by the leadership and staff of the winning IPAs.
“This ranking recognizes that we are best equipped to professionally respond to the needs of expanding companies, maximising efficiency and earning the trust and respect of decision-makers,” Niall O’Callaghan said.
“Given the hugely competitive Foreign Direct Investment environment in which the Mid-West is operating within internationally, this is a vote of confidence for our region but by no means a given for future project wins. We need to maintain our strong close working relationships with local stakeholders to ensure we continually put the Mid-West’s best foot forward.”
