THE Network Ireland Limerick Business Woman of the Year Awards, sponsored by LEO Limerick and AIB, will be hotly contested by ten businesswomen across three categories this year and the coveted shortlist has been announced.

Representing a broad range of businesses, the contenders will find out their fate at a special awards evening on Wednesday 11 May at No.1 Pery Square.

The winners of each award category will then go on to the national finals which will be announced at a Gala Ceremony in September in Cork.

The 2016 shortlist;

New Business

Yvonne Clarke, Just Be Holistic Therapies; Michelle Costello, Fusion Media; Neisha Ahern, Catwalk Beauty Salon; Leanne Culbert, HerbaLife

Employee Category; Emma Heuston, Cook Medical; Aoife Healy, Flok Ireland; Sandra Honan, The Pudding

SME; Valerie Murphy, Valerie’s Breast Care; Ciara Flanagan, Plush beauty; Fiona Doyle, Glamour Agency

Speaking about the upcoming 2016 Women In Business Awards, Louise Lawlor, President of Network Ireland Limerick said; “The purpose of the awards is to celebrate the excellence, professionalism, vision and leadership of our members.

“The awards process itself provides a really valuable opportunity for women in business to showcase their business.  We’re very excited with the calibre of our shortlist this year; the achievements of our candidates are exceptional and have given the judges much cause for deliberation.”

Special guest speaker at the Limerick awards night will be Chupi Sweetman-Pell, Founder and Creative Director of multi-award winning jewellery brand Chupi, who will discuss her success story to date.

Wine & Canapés Reception: 7.15pm followed by the Awards Ceremony at 8.00pm sharp

Dress Code: Dressy but not Black Tie
