THE conversation installation (gotta love it) Salon du Chat takes place again in Ormston House, Patrick Street this Thursday April 21 as part of The Limerick Spring Festival of Politics and Ideas.
Supported by the Limerick2020 bid, the newly designed Chat menu “has a distinctly cultural flavour”, says its creator, Róisín Buckley.
An arts project that encourages participants to have curated conversations in a relaxed environment, it’s the brainchild of Limerick creatives Buckley, Jennifer Moroney Ward, Conor Buckley and Gillian Jonker.
“Participants are invited to take a seat, a coffee and a snack and are given a menu of conversation topics. They are then encouraged to select some topics and to take part in conversations with friends and strangers in a structured but relaxed environment”.
