LIMERICK/CLARE world music trio Rusangano Family will join a strong lineup for this Summer’s Body & Soul Festival happening at Ballinlough Castle, Westmeath, June 17-19.
Headlining the festival will be Santigold, St Germain, Floating Points (Live Set), Mercury Rev and BadBadNotGood and Ibibio Sound Machine. Rusangano Family commented that the band are, “too excited about this one. Just look at that line-up. Incredible.”
The group has also announced a launch date for the new album ‘Let The Dead Bury The Dead’. Rusangano Family will release the album on Friday April 8 which was written and recorded in Clare and Limerick in the past 12 months. The album will feature the critically acclaimed single ‘Heathrow’ from 2015.
