MUNSTER secured a lacklustre 16-12 win over Zebre today in round 12 of the Guinness Pro12 competition. A Mark Chisholm try after six minutes set the Munster men on their way to a much needed four points in the league. With Ian Keatley swapping penalty goals with Zebre’s Kelly Haimona, the score at half time was Zebre 12, Munster 13. In what was a poor second 40, Munster’s out half Ian Keatley’s drop goal after 72 mins secured the win for the visitors.
Munster’s next game in the competition is on Sunday February 14 versus the Ospreys.
