€500,000 has been ring-fenced in the city for the Coonagh/Knockalisheen road, which will be the first project off the ground, according to Education Minister Jan O’Sullivan. There will be a matching investment in works on Thomond Bridge.

The Park Bridge at Corbally will have €40,000 spent on it while €70,000 has been allocated for a new roundabout at the junction between New Street and the South Circular Road.
