THERE is an open invitation to a free performance of extracts from acclaimed contemporary dance works at Dance Limerick this Saturday 30 at 5pm.

The afternoon is part of Step Up Dance Project Repertory Programme.  Extracts from ‘Bastard Amber’ by Liz Roche (Ireland) and ‘The Featherstonehaugh’s Big Feature’ and ‘Yippeee!!!’ by Lea Anderson (UK) will be performed by participants at John’s Square.

Repertory Programme is an exciting new development of Step Up Dance Project. It gives early-career contemporary dance artists the opportunity to work with and gain insight into the creative processes of established choreographers.

Saturday is our opportunity to witness emerging talent: Chrissie Ardill, Magdalena Hylak, Ailish Maher, Catherine O’Reilly, Sarah Ryan and Juan Urbina.

Step Up is a partnership between Dance Limerick, Dance Ireland and the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick.
