Bail granted to sexual assault accused

districtcourtA LIMERICK man charged with sexually assaulting two young sisters on 30 occasions has been granted bail at Limerick District Court pending him being returned for a jury trial next month.

The 45-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of assaulting the four and seven-year-old girls in County Limerick more than six years ago as well as at a location on the outskirts of Limerick city in September 2013. 

Judge Marian O’Leary remanded him on bail to appear before the court again next February.
