ESTABLISHED more than a decade ago, Liam O’Brien’s original Christmas swing show hits Dolan’s Warehouse on Wednesday December  23 for one night only.

Yes, folks, Crooning at Christmas is back, its leading man bolstered by Limerick City and County Council’s recognition of his theatre company Bottom Dog as Cultural Ambassadors of Limerick.

Not since Rudolph saved the day has someone lit up the season so often as former ‘Emmerdale’ star O’Brien. There’s no doubt about it. His voice is molten gold and this Ennis Road actor/ producer has the stage management and charisma to create a terrific show.

O’Brien made his name as a singer for his performance as Dean Martin in the West End hit ‘The Rat Pack – Live from Las Vegas’.

Performing on a UK, European and American tour, the Liverpool Echo said:

“Irishman Liam O’Brien – the vocal pick of the trio, reproduces Dean Martin’s charmer tones to a tee.”

This Olivier nominated show has run for over a decade off and on in the West End. O’Brien played Dean at London’s famous Palladium theatre, all over the US and Europe, and on national tour in the UK.

Dolan’s on the Dock Road on Wednesday 23 sees him backed by long-standing partners in The Million Dollar Swing Band. Anticipate musical direction by double bass player Peter Hanagan, who played with Norah Jones in his native New Mexico; and founder of the successful Limerick Jazz Festival, John Daly, on drums.
