LIMERICK Writers’ Centre reports a double launch taking place this Thursday 3 at Broadford Community Centre, County Limerick at 8pm. Everyone is welcome to the Revival Press launch of two works, ‘Killing Time’ and ‘Getting the Nod from Himself’, each by local man Tom Moloney, of whom we hear that “nothing taxes him apart from Revenue”.

Self described as “poet-barbarian, knocking on the gates of the canon”, this likeable sort has produced poetry and fiction. ‘Killing Time’  is his second collection of poems and ‘Getting the Nod from Himself’ is a first venture into fiction.

According to LWC’s Dominic Taylor, the books are published under his Centre’s Community Publishing initiative.

They will be launched tonight by Mairtín O Briain and Bertha McCullagh, indefatigable supporters of and leaders in literary matters in Limerick.

You can purchase Tom Moloney’s books at www.limerickwriterscentre.com and usual outlets.
