TO coincide with Peter Hook’s Limerick show which is now sold out, the hugely influential Joy Division will be the focus of a two-day symposium at University of Limerick on November 25 and 26.

The free event is organised by the Popular Music and Popular Culture Research Cluster at the University. Presenters are travelling from Ireland, the UK, China, The US (including from Yale), Canada, Japan, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain and Portugal.

The Q and A Session with Joy Division’s Peter Hook’s happens at UCH on Wednesday November 25, 7pm. The two-day symposium, which is free to the public, takes place at Health Sciences Building on campus from 9am to 5pm on each day.
