UK rock/jazz musician Joe Jackson will play Dolan’s Warehouse on Thursday February 4. His 1979 single ‘Is She Really Going Out With Him’ made him an overnight success here and in the UK and US. ‘Its Different for Girls’ was a hit from the follow up album ‘I’m The Man’.
The swing era ‘Jumpin Jive’ and jazz influenced ‘Steppin Out’ followed in the 1980’s.
His recent project, ‘Fast Forward’ was released in October 2015. An album of songs relating to four cities, New York, Berlin,Amsterdam, and New Orleans, with each of the city’s specific tracks having been arranged and recorded there.
