VENERABLE Limerick Art Society is holding their Winter Exhibition in the Hunt Museum this year, images unfolding from Friday November 6 at 6pm until Sunday 22.
“We expect to have 70 to 80 new paintings on display,” reports PRO Kathy Tiernan. ”There is a great diversity in the work as Limerick Art Society represents almost 100 members from all walks of life – people who paint as a hobby, as well as those who are professional artists”.
She lists the media of Watercolour, Oil, Acrylic, Pastel and Pencil as each having a place on the wall. There’s a community angle also.
“This year LAS has chosen to support Limerick Animal Welfare throughout the year. We ran a Charity Exhibition earlier at Parkway Shopping Centre and will continue to support LAW with donation during this exhibition”.
Open for viewing daily at Hunt Museum, free in to the show of mixed media artists.
