TUESDAY November 3 at 8pm is evening date for the next literary gathering under the banner On The Nail, at Loft Venue on George’s Quay. The guests are poet and short-story writer Noel King, a Tralee man who has edited more than 50 books, and Loughrea poet Matt Mooney.
King’s poetry collections are Prophesying the Past (Cliffs of Moher, Salmon Poetry, 2010); and The Stern Wave (Salmon Poetry, 2013).
He has been a prizewinner in the William Allingham Short Story Competition and is editor of Doghouse Books.
Matt Mooney’s published works include Droving (Listowel, Matt Mooney, 2003); Falling Apples (Original Writing, 2010); and Earth to Earth (Galway Academic Press, 2015).
