THE four men who found the decaying bodies of Thomas Ruttle and his partner Julia Holmes last May have been charged with trespassing at the house in Boolaglass outside Asleaton.

Patrick Harty (33) from Churchview, Askeaton, Michael Harty (25) from Lismakeera, Willie Harty (19) from Moig South and Michael Harty (19) from Main Street, Askeaton are facing charges of trespassing with intent to commit theft between May 17 and 18 last.

The bodies of Thomas Ruttle (56) and convicted fraudster Julia Holmes (63) were found in an upstairs bedroom. It is believed they may have been dead for up six weeks following a suspected suicide pact.

The accused men were remanded on bail to appear before the court again on November 13.
