ARTHURS Quay Park will play host to Limerick’s Halloween Thriller charity street dance event on October 31 for the second year in a row.

The event, which sees members of the public learning the moves to Michael Jackson’s classic Thriller video, is the city’s largest outdoor dance event.

This year, Limerick’s amateur street dancers will be raising much-needed funds for CARI, the children’s Ark Unit and the neo-natal unit in University Hospital Limerick.

The event, which is part of this year’s ‘Halloween Spooktacular’ which runs from October 23 to November 1, will also feature guest appearances by local dance troupes.

The evening kicks off at 7.30pm, with the main Thriller dance taking place at 9pm.

Entry costs €5 and all proceeds go towards the three chosen causes.

All ages are welcome and no level of dance ability is required; participants are encouraged to come in fancy dress. So learn the moves, put on your scariest costume and make it a Halloween to remember.
