BRANAR Téatar is a children’s puppet and theatre company, sometimes working in collaboration with international companies and touring with these adorable shows. Bualadh Bos Children’s Festival 2015 will run October 9 to 11, organised from Lime Tree Theatre to embrace No. 69 O’Connell Street. No. 69 will be host venue to Branar’s ‘Bláth’ (blossom).
Designed by artist Maeve Clancy and set to its own composition by Colm Mac Con Iomaire of The Frames, ‘Bláth’ will appeal to ages six up but it really took a hold of this hack’s heart when seen last year. Do not abandon your child to puppet world while you coffee downstairs.
