WITH this weekend being the last week of four games in a row for the Limerick sides in the Ulster Bank League, some are in need of the break while others are wishing they could play every week.
In Division 1A, Garryowen, currently third in the table, travel to Terenure on Saturday. Conan Doyle’s side had a good win over Cork Con last weekend and will be looking to build momentum against sixth placed Terenure.
Talking of momentum, first placed side Clontarf bring their 100 per cent record to Greenfields on Saturday, where ninth placed Young Munster’s lie in wait.
In Division 1B, bottom side Shannon will be looking for their first win of the season against Ballymena in Coonagh, while UL Bohemians will be looking to bounce back from defeat last weekend with an away trip to fellow students Trinity.
Division 2A sees Thomond travel to bottom side Corinthians of Galway, a game which has away win written all over it.
In Division 2C, Old Crescent and Bruff have been flying the flag proudly for Limerick Rugby with both sides having a 100 per cent record. Old Crescent, buoyed by the return to action of Brian Touhy in the centre, face Boyne at Rosbrien while Bruff take on their cross border friends from Kanturk in Kilballyowen.
The next round of fixtures in the Ulster Bank League is on the weekend of October 16/17/18.
