ALL Saints Church will come alive to the sounds of Mozart, Bartók and Shostakovich on Tuesday October 13 at 8pm, reports Limerick Council PRO Mark Dunphy.
“One of Europe’s finest young string quartets, Zaide, performs at the third in a series of four concerts as part of the Castleconnell 2015 Autumn Concert Series.
“A union of four brilliant female musicians’ creativity and sensitivity, they have in a remarkably short space of time, established a formidable reputation….playing in some of the world’s most prestigious halls this year as part of the ECHO Rising Stars programme”.
A French quartet, they have been invited to perform in venues such as Wigmore Hall, Berlin Philharmonie, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées and the Beijing Performing Arts Centre in the past three years.
The group has worked regularly with Hatto Beyerle, violist and founding member of the Alban Berg Quartet, and last year released a debut album featuring works by Janáček and Martinů.
