ALL Saint’s Church at Castleconnell is the lovely venue for a 2nd date in the Autumn Classic Concerts 2015 series, falling on Tuesday September 29, 8pm. The Esposito Quartet is comprised of Mia Cooper and Anna Cashell, violins, Joachim Roewer (artistic director of Killaloe Chamber Festival) on viola, and William Butt, cello.
Their name reflects their admiration for Michele Esposito, pianist and composer, who for 40 years from 1888 was the initiator for much of the chamber music created in Dublin through the establishment of The Royal Dublin Society.
For this County Limerick concert the musicians have selected an eclectic programme: Joseph Haydn: String Quartet Op.77 No.1; Samuel Barber: String Quartet Op.11; Philip Glass: String Quartet No.2 ‘Company’ and Ludwig V. Beethoven: String Quartet Op. 95. Tickets on the door.
