KILKENNY hurler Michael Fennelly has joined LIT as a Lecturer in Sports Strength and Conditioning, just days before lining out for Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final.
Welcoming Michael to the Institute, LIT President, Dr. Maria Hinfelaar said, “We are very pleased to have Michael on the LIT team. As a leading athlete at the pinnacle of his sport, he exemplifies many of the values LIT represents.
“As a multiple All-Ireland winner and former captain with Kilkenny, we look forward to Michael bringing the benefit of his experience to our students. I wish Michael the very best of luck on Sunday as he bids for his seventh All-Ireland medal and for his career in LIT”.
