LIMERICK acts Rubberbandits, Iron Mountain and Bleeding Heart Pigeons will play Electric Picnic this weekend. The Rubberbandits will return to the Comedy Stage again this year which runs on Saturday September 5 and Sunday September 6 and opens from 1.15pm both days. Instrumental post rock/trad collective Iron Mountain play the Body & Soul stage at 3pm on Sunday 6. The group released their debut album ‘Unum’ in April, and are a perfect fit for the Body and Soul area where the faithful go each year in search of fresh new sounds . Ditto for Bleeding Heart Pigeons whose debut EP ‘A Hallucination’ features the lush experimental eight minute epic title track, and an exciting indication of what the debut album will sound like. Bleeding Heart Pigeons play the Body & Soul area on Friday 4 at 11pm.
