FUNDING of €55,700 has been allocated to help Limerick clean up its act and make it a better place to live.
€40,000 is being allocated to Limerick City and County Council under the 2015 Anti-Litter and Anti-Graffiti Awareness Grant Scheme which allows them to support public education and awareness initiative in relation to both litter and graffiti.
A further €15,700 has been allocated to the local authority under the Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund which supports small scale non-profit local environmental initiatives by communities, individual and not for profit groups.
