WEDNESDAY September 9 will hear Limerick Jazz Society welcome saxophonist Jamie Oehlers to Dolan’s Upstairs, all the way from Perth.
Oehlers is a musician of note: he has earned the prestigious Bell Award of the year for a series of albums and has performed in most continents in festival and clubs.
For his Limerick visit, he will front a Quartet comprised of fellow Aussie and recent winner of The Barry Harris Award, pianist Tal Cohen. Also well known Limerick musicians, bassist Peter Hanagan and drummer John Daly, chair of our high profile jazz society.
Open to all 018s, doors 8.30pm, band on 9pm.
