LIMERICK are out of the 2015 All Ireland championship following a one point loss to Dublin at Thurles this evening. The game, which ended 1-17 to 1-16, saw Limerick lead 1-8 to 0-3 points early in the second half. However, 9 points in a row from Dublin and 12 in total from Paul Ryan, saw Ger Cunningham’s men claim a victory which had seemed beyond them at half time.
What now for Limerick? With it being 42 years since an All Ireland, Limerick’s wait remains for Liam Mc Carthy, while TJ Ryan did signed a new three year deal at the start of this season, the future of the Limerick manager and his backroom team along with some of the older players on the panel, is not for discussion now, but Limerick hurling fans cannot but be upset with today’s display.
