LIMERICK Racecourse has today announced a very exciting new sponsorship deal with Limerick Company Wallstone, The Financial Planning Company. Wallstone will sponsor the feature race on Thursday 23rd July, “The Wallstone Financial Novice Steeplechase” with a prize fund of €17,500. The Wallstone Financial Novice Steeplechase is a race which has become renowned for consistently producing high class winners over the years with horses of the calibre of Devil’s Bride, The Real Article and Baily Green amongst its illustrious roll of honour. The 2015 renewal is set to take place on Thursday 23rd July, the final evening of the Twilight Racing Series at Limerick Racecourse.
The 2015 Twilight Racing Evenings have been extremely popular at Limerick Racecourse and the final Twilight National Hunt fixture which takes place on Thursday the 23rd July promises to round off the summer season in style. An action packed seven race national hunt card gets underway at 5.30pm with the very eagerly anticipated country music star Mike Denver playing live after racing.
