LIMERICK Swimming Club swimmers took home plenty of medals at National Division 2 Gala which was held in UL Arena last weekend. LSC’s Luke Lyons was the star of the show taking Gold in the 16-18 age group in the 400 Front Crawl, 100 Butterfly, 200 Front Crawl , 200 Individual Medley and 200 Butterfly events. Lyons also took Silver in the 1500 Front Crawl. On top of all of that he broke the one minute mark for the 100 Front Crawl (59.54). Michail Lambert also won Gold in the 100 Butterfly, Silver in the 200 Individual Medley and Silver in the 100 Front Crawl, while Trease Ní Cheadigáin won Gold in the Girls 15-18 Age group in the 200 Back Crawl. In the 15 and under Boys Relay, there was Silver for the following swimmers; Michail Lambert, Darragh O’Connor, Niall Kelly and Hesham Malik.
