THE LIMERICK camogie side will face Wexford this Saturday evening at 4pm in Innovate Wexford Park, in what is their third game of the All Ireland championship group stages.
Joe Quaid’s side lost out to the current All Ireland champions Cork last weekend on a scoreline of 1-14 to 1-10.
Wexford, who have only played one game thus far, beating Offaly, will be favourites for this clash, seeing as they currently top the group on points difference, with one less game played. The game this weekend in Wexford will also be played in front of a huge crowd, as it serves as part of a double header with Cork and Wexford in the All Ireland hurling championship qualifiers.
Limerick will have a bye week next weekend before taking on Galway, in Galway, on July 18.
With four of the five teams in the group all on 2 points, Limerick are very much in the hunt for a top three play off spot.
