HASTEN to St Mary’s Cathedral for a thrilling series of free lunchtime concerts with international class chorals and soloists. Enjoying the opportunity created by Limerick Sings, this Saturday June 27 at 1pm, Los Robles Master Chorale from California will present music by Taverner, Purcell, Stanford, folk and spirituals.
Back to 1.15pm concerts for the remainder of the summer calendar. On Wednesday July 1, the EA Western Region Music Service Youth Orchestra has a programme of Tchaikovsky, Lloyd Webber, Calvin Custer and Paul Lavender.
Looking to July Wednesday 22, mezzo soprano Edel O’Brien will sing music by Brahms and Debussy, accompanied by Irina Dernova on piano. On Wednesday July 29, Rebecca and James Warren on violin and viola respectively will play Dvorak, Smetana, Mozart and Part.
Each beginning at 1.15pm and free.
