THERE is a change in venue for this weekend’s Killarney  Festival of Music & Food, relocating from Killarney House Demesne to Killarney Racecourse – right at the town’s outskirt on Ross Road.

Festival goers can anticipate an excellent infrastructure with bars, hospitality areas and flushing loos – it all matters.

At least 70 Irish and international musicians will perform in a schedule published below. Boxes are ticked for every age group with comedy kings and the country’s top chefs engaged in food demonstrations linked with artisan producers. Headlining, of course, are bands and artists of the calibre of Burt Bacharach, Jools Holland, Gemma Hayes, Damien Dempsey and Mick Flannery.
