Our city will fill with choristers and songs from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 for Limerick Sings Festival. Choirs from Manchester, Sweden, Seattle join Irish ensembles for the three days co-ordinated from UCH.
The opening event is in King John’s Castle on Friday 26 at 6pm when visiting choirs are welcomed by ambassodors from locally basaed ones; national choirs take part in this festival too. Look to St Mary’s Cathedral at 8pm on Saturday 27 for a major public concert, also Sunday 28 in the concert hall for 3pm proms.
