LIMERICK is celebrating its African communities with a free family fun day in the city this weekend. Organised by Limerick City and County Council, a series of events celebrating African culture will be held in the city all week including dance, drumming and art workshops, African cuisine, music and fashion to mark the multicultural event. The week long celebrations will come to an end with the Family Fun Day at the Milk Market, this Sunday, May 31, from 2 to 6pm with free activities for all age groups. There will be lots of activities for kids to enjoy with sports and games provided by the Limerick Sports Partnership, face-painting, balloon modelling, nail art and a puppet show.
