DES Keogh, one of Ireland’s finest actors, will take to the stage in Corpus Christi Primary School in Moyross next Wednesday, May 2o in ‘My Fair Ladies’. Des is fulfilling a life-long ambition in this show to play legendary Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw. Celebrating his 80th birthday this year, Des will perform in this hugely entertaining new play about the many ladies in the extraordinary life of one of the greatest playwrights. Author of ‘Pygmalion’, which became the smash-hit film ‘My Fair Lady’, Shaw shares anecdotes about the loves of his life and elaborates on his forth right views on marriage and celibacy.
