FROM Monday April 27 visitors and clients seeking admission to the in-patient mental health unit, 5B, in University Hospital Limerick will be diverted to a new temporary entrance pending completion of the final phase of the redevelopment project. Unit 5B is undergoing a comprehensive redevelopment which will provide 50 in-patient acute beds for the Mid West region. This new unit which is due to be completed by the end of 2015 will offer clients a high spec, modern, bright and spacious environment in which to receive treatment to aid their recovery.
