OLD Crescent RFC members were deeply saddened to learn of the passing this week of Mike Cunningham, junior vice president of the club. Mike was remembered by the club as an enthusiastic member since his school days and a tireless worker on behalf of the club. President of Old Crescent RFC, Dr Michael O’Flynn, expressed his deepest sympathies to Mike’s wife Deirdre and his children, Michael, Jack, Rory and Grace, and to the wider Cunningham family. The Old Crescent RFC’s President’s Awards Night scheduled for next Friday night has been postponed as a mark of respect to our late Junior Vice President.
