IRISH Water have given an undertaking to Fianna Fail councillor Richard O’Donoghue to commence essential works on water services in the Croom/Banogue area. “Following months of representation, Irish Water have approved €535,250 for the replacement of three sections of watermain in the Croom area at Church Road, Ploughlands, and from Carrigeen Grove to the old pumphouse. It is anticipated that a contractor could commence work in late 2015,” he said.
