A DUBLIN man is to be charged with the 20-year-old murder of Limerick woman, Margot Seery.
The man is to appear before Dublin District Court this Friday following his arrest in Kimmage.
The 41-year-old suspect is charged in relation to the murder of Ms Seery at Kenilworth Square Dublin 6, which occurred on October 8, 1994. Margot Seery was 49 at the time of her death.
Following developments in the investigation, the body of Ms Seery was exhumed from Rathkeale Cemetery on September 16 2014 and taken to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem examination was performed by Dr. Michael Curtis.
The remains were re-interred at Rathkeale cemetery.
Previously, a 41 year old man was arrested on September 26, last year and detained at Terenure Garda station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.
He was subsequently released the without charge and file was prepared for the DPP.
