AS part of Limerick’s Lifelong Learning festival, Limerick Youth Service is running a series of workshops across the city and county for people who wish to know more about social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc).
Limerick Lifelong Learning Week runs from Monday, March 2, to Sunday, March 29, with this year’s theme ‘Learning for Positive Living.’
‘Computers for the terrified’ workshops will take place at 5 Lower Glentworth St, Limerick from 4:30-5:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, March 24, 25, 26.
Workshops in the county will be held at Rathkeale Youth Space and the Millennium Centre, Caherconlish on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 24 and 25, from 2-5pm.
The class is a step by step guide to setting up a Facebook account and is open to all ages. Although aimed at beginners the class is suitable for those who wish to know more about the social media site, especially the privacy settings.
