A POSTMORTEM will be carried out this Monday on the remains of a 31-year-old man who collapsed and died at a house on the Hyde Road on Sunday night last.
It is understood, that the man originally from East Clare, had called to the house earlier the same evening before he collapsed.
The alarm was raised but the man was pronounced dead a short time later at the University Hospital Limerick.
The cause of death will be determined later this Monday after State Pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy conducts an examination of the remains at the University Hospital Limerick.
Gardai say that they are fully investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death but they have said that while the cause of death is as of yet unexplained, they are not treating it as supicious.
