TICKETS are selling out fast for the International Women’s Day Luncheon in aid of The Hope Foundation on Friday March 6 at the Dunraven Arms Hotel in Adare.
Nationwide presenter Mary Kennedy will MC at this unique event, hosted by JJ O’Toole Ltd, with former Bond girl Fiona Fullerton and Limerick model agent Celia Holman Lee among those who have the charity bash marked into their diaries.
Mary will act as master of ceremonies at the luncheon with up to 260 guests set to attend while London based actress, author and businesswoman Fiona Fullerton will join Hope Founder Maureen Forrest and managing director of JJ’O Toole Ltd, Vicki O’Toole, as guest speakers at this special International Women’s Day event.
Set up in 1999 to raise funds for one girl’s home, today The Hope Foundation funds over 60 projects in education, primary healthcare, shelter, vocational training, child protection and drugs rehabilitation. The charity now has offices in Cork, Dublin, UK, Germany, India and US. The charity works with 16 local Indian NGOs to rescue thousands of children from the streets and slums of Kolkata (formerly Calcutta).
Tickets for the event are €75 and are now very limited with all proceeds from sales going to benefit the street children of Kolkata with whom The Hope Foundation work with on a daily basis.
