CROAGH School of Music is hosting a 10th year anniversary gala concert at University Concert Hall this Saturday February 21 with a diverse programme promised. There will be a traditional ensemble of up to 60 performers, directed by James Anglim and a piano score commissioned from composer Fiona Linnane. Written for 16 different performers, Linnane’s new work is named ‘Tune Craft’.
Croagh also reports a guitar orchestra showcasing modern music in an innovative way and arranged by Darren Murphy and Fintan Hahnefeld. On then to a grand finale with a choir of over 80 students. The choir will be directed by Anita Mahon, founding musical director of Munster Rugby Choir.
