MESC is Limerick city based producer Kieran Ralph. From a background recording various garage and punk demos he began producing electronic music in 2014. His music today is mainly based around elements of braindance and minimalist genres and can be heard at https://www.soundcloud.com/mesc-2. On his soundcloud platform you will hear fast-paced electronica infused with stabbing classic synths all the way to slow and atmospheric ambient sounds.
Among Ralph’s influences are Burial, Aphex Twin and Flying Lotus but he takes inspiration from the DIY ethos of US hardcore punk bands Minor Threat and Black Flag to produce his own distinct style. Hear Mesc at new club night Switch at The Basement, Pery Hotel.
