Scrum-half Duncan Williams has signed a two-year contract extension that will see him stay with the province until June 2017.

Williams, the most capped scrum-half in the current squad, made his league debut against Connacht in December 2009 in Thomond Park and has made 83 appearances for the province. The academy graduate moved on to a full contract at the start of the 2010/11 season and made his European debut against London Irish that October at the Madejski Stadium. The 28-year-old most recently made his first start at European level against Saracens at Allianz Park.

Ronan O’Mahony has penned a two-year deal that will see the winger move from development to full contact status at the start of the 2015/16 season.

As a final year academy player he made his league debut scoring a try against Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade in April 2013. The Limerick-man has made 20 appearances for the province, scoring 3 tries. In January the 25-year-old made his Champions Cup debut coming off the bench against Saracens in Allianz Park before making his first European start a week later in Thomond Park against Sale Sharks.

Backrow forward Jordan Coghlan is in his final year of the Leinster Rugby academy and the 22-year-old will join the province at the start of next season on a one-year development contract.

The former Clongowes man made his league debut in September 2012 off the bench against Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade, and was part of the Leinster A squad that won B&I Cup titles in 2013 and 2014. He represented Ireland U20s during the 2012 6 Nations and Junior World Championship in South Africa.

Commenting on the signings Head Coach Anthony Foley said, “Looking ahead it is great to have Ronan and Duncan on board again as we continue to build our squad for next season, and in signing Jordan we look forward to seeing him develop and contribute to the squad.”
