Limerick Footballers to climb Mount Brandon

Limerick SFT V UCC 11012015After a very successful fundraising climb of Carrauntoohil in 2013 Limerick Footballers in conjunction with Club Limerick and Friends of Limerick Football are now going to climb Mount Brandon (3,123 ft.) to raise funds for the new Limerick Football underage Academy and football in general.

All the county football squads-U14, U15, U16, U17, Minor, U21, and Senior will take part together with management and supporters.

The climb is on Sunday 22nd February commencing at 11.30am. Supporters are asked to contribute by sponsoring a squad member or by joining the climb at a cost of € 20.00.

The underage football academy is under the direction of former Limerick senior footballers Muiris Gavin and Paul Kinnerk and over 200 players take part in LIT every Saturday morning.
